Lead Site Reliability Engineer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5–8+ years in SRE or cloud infrastructure leadership
• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure including production-grade design and cloud-native reliability practices
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, DataDog, Log Analytics
• Experience in incident response and ITIL practices (problem, change, incident management)
• Knowledge of observability frameworks like Open Telemetry and distributed tracing systems
• Experience with authentication and secure access protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
• Experience setting up synthetic monitoring using Playwright or equivalent
• Solid understanding of networking, containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Good understanding of APIs, scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Kusto and databases like SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL
• Ability to mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and align long-term strategies
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based anomaly detection tools like Microsoft Azure Anomaly Detector or equivalent
• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension and Salesforce is a plus
• Proficiency in ITSM frameworks like ITIL for operational efficiency
• Experience managing onboarding projects and live production operations
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Interest in continuous learning and growth within the product area

• Lead the development of SRE solutions including monitoring, alerting, anomaly detection, self-healing, and reliability testing.
• Design and implement strategies for reliability, scalability, performance, capacity planning, resource management, and automation.
• Collaborate with product development teams to optimize application performance and infrastructure using agile methodologies.
• Build tools and automation to reduce manual toil and improve developer experience.
• Define and manage SLOs and error budgets.
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Execute disaster recovery, configuration management, and platform readiness tasks.
• Manage incident response and root cause analysis ensuring timely resolution and maintain documentation.
• Participate in design discussions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, adoption of best practices, and stay current with technology trends.
• Mentor and guide junior SREs and participate in on-call rotations including weekends and evening shifts.
• Provide flexible working in regular and evening shifts on a rotational basis with weekend or on-call support as needed.
