Full Stack Developer

Square One Resources is recruiting for a long-term transformation project with a large international organisation. The project involves modern full-stack development utilizing cloud-based data and application technologies focusing on secure, enterprise-grade applications, reporting, data, and workflow capabilities.

• Strong commercial experience with React.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building APIs/services with FastAPI.
• Good understanding of modern web application architecture.
• Practical experience with enterprise authentication and authorisation.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and SSO.
• Understanding of RBAC and controlled access to enterprise applications.
• Experience working with user authentication and/or service-principal authentication.
• Ability to work across both front-end and back-end layers.
• Experience developing secure, production-grade applications.
• Good understanding of REST API and application integrations.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks Apps.
• Experience working with the Databricks platform.
• Experience with Material UI or another modern component library.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with data ingestion and data modelling.
• Experience in reporting, BI, or data-driven applications.

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting SIT, regression, UAT, or E2E testing.
• Familiarity with enterprise data, reporting, or regulatory transformation projects.

• Design and develop modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build reusable and maintainable front-end components using HTML/CSS and component libraries such as Material UI.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and configure application functionality within a Databricks-based environment.
• Work with Databricks Apps as part of the application layer.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and data platforms.
• Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, SSO, service principals, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Contribute to solution and technical design activities.
• Support environment and platform setup and configuration.
• Work with data models, data ingestion and integrations.
• Build application workflows and system-enabled controls.
• Support the development of reporting and business intelligence outputs.
• Participate in system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-to-end testing activities.
• Work closely with technical, data, and architecture stakeholders.
• Contribute to troubleshooting, optimisation, and continuous improvement of the solution.
