QA Automation Engineer

DCG is a recruitment company undertaking numerous recruitment projects for its partners, focusing on supporting clients by providing experienced professionals.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing / QA with a strong focus on test automation
• Strong experience in test automation for web applications and backend services
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, and WireMock
• Good knowledge of Java and TypeScript
• Experience with JavaScript, Angular, and AngularJS
• Strong experience with REST API testing, both automated and manual
• Experience with Bruno and/or Postman
• Good knowledge of Gherkin and test case design
• Experience with SQL and database validation
• Experience using Jenkins, including basic configuration
• Experience with qTest or similar test management tools
• Experience working in Agile development teams
• Practical experience using AI tools in software development or testing

Nice to have:

• ISTQB certification
• Software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular, AngularJS, or TypeScript
• Knowledge of IT analysis methods and standards such as BPMN 2.0, UML, or IREB

• Design, create, maintain and execute automated tests for backend services using Java and Cucumber
• Develop and maintain frontend automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright
• Perform automated and manual REST API testing
• Analyse new features and prepare test scenarios, test cases and supporting documentation
• Execute manual functional tests on desktop and mobile devices
• Build and maintain test cases using Gherkin
• Use WireMock for mocking and testing integrations
• Support test execution within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Analyse test data and perform database validation using SQL
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts and other team members within an Agile environment
• Use AI-based tools to support testing, analysis and daily engineering activities
