Data Warehouse Developer (SAS/Oracle)

Our client operates in the insurance industry and seeks a Data Warehouse Developer skilled in SAS and Oracle technologies. The job location is Warsaw with a hybrid working model requiring at least one day per week in the office. The contract is from 01.10.2026 to 30.06.2027 with a possibility of extension.

• Practical experience in building and developing data warehouses with strong knowledge of Oracle (preferably Oracle Exadata)
• Experience designing and implementing ETL processes, data modeling, and data flow design
• Experience working with SAS environments including DI Studio, Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, and Visual Analytics
• Experience with Oracle environments, PL/SQL, and data processing optimization (preferred)
• Familiarity with CI/CD technologies including Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA and automation of production processes
• Ability to design and build analytical solutions, technical data marts, BI reports, and components for data processing

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Python, REST API, and Office 365 integration
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, cloud and on-premise data integration, and Azure data platforms
• Familiarity with modern data architectures and data exchange interface design between systems
• Understanding of Parquet format, Data Lake layers, and integration based on Kafka and data streams

• Build tools supporting Data Warehouse developers including reusable components in SAS, SAS Viya, Oracle, and other technologies used in the warehouse
• Develop APIs and integration components connecting technologies like SAS, Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Office 365, REST API
• Create tools for data exchange between IT systems including file-based solutions, APIs, and streaming (e.g., Kafka)
• Conduct proof of concept (POC) for new tools and technologies such as SAS Viya, Oracle Exadata, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and automation tools
• Develop monitoring tools for user activity, quality control, auditing, maintenance, and optimization of data processing workflows
• Participate in optimization work of Data Warehouse processes, including automations and performance enhancements
• Build technical data marts, BI reports, and components supporting data processing and optimization
• Support strategic projects in technological, integration, and architectural aspects
