Senior Project Manager

x-kom is a group operating for over 20 years, focusing on customer and employee growth. They have a Strategy Execution & PMO team working on important business projects that impact the organization's operations, collaborating with sponsors and business owners including board members and functional directors. The workplace is based in a modern office in Częstochowa, Poland, emphasizing in-person contact.

• Several years (over 5 years) of experience independently managing complex, cross-area, and strategic business or transformational projects from goal definition to implementation and results summary.
• Ability to coordinate activities of multiple teams simultaneously, manage dependencies, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels including the board.
• Autonomy and business orientation with a broad view of projects beyond schedules including setting priorities, identifying risks, and proposing solutions.
• Strong communication and influence skills, capable of leading meetings and workshops, driving concrete conclusions and decisions, and enforcing commitments without formal team responsibility.
• Adaptability to changing environments where project scope or priorities may evolve.
• Critical thinking through asking pertinent questions and drawing conclusions.
• Preferred experience in organizations with similar business models, especially in retail, e-commerce, omnichannel, or new technology product sales.
• Desired knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• English language proficiency sufficient for communication and working with documentation and materials in English.

• Lead strategic, cross-area, and transformational business projects end-to-end within the x-kom group.
• Define project scope, goals, structure, key stages, milestones, dependencies, roles, and responsibilities.
• Take operational management of projects, supporting sponsors and business owners by organizing execution while they retain responsibility for business decisions and outcomes.
• Coordinate actions of multiple teams and business areas ensuring effective information flow.
• Collaborate with project business owners, managers, experts, management, and the board.
• Drive conflict resolution in priorities, unclear scope, or undefined ownership, prepare options and escalate as needed.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and decision sessions ensuring clear agreements, accountability, and deadlines.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, dependencies, and potential blockers, proactively reacting to protect key objectives.
• Prepare solution variants and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Monitor timing, scope, and business impact of projects.
• Support organizational change and develop PMO standards and best practices.
