Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist

For our client, one of the largest banks in the Nordic region, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist.

• Approximately 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Practical experience in IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
• Experience in IT Risk Management.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn unclear situations into clear and actionable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or CREST.
• Experience with findings from Offensive Security Testing or Operational Security activities.

• Leading and coordinating analysis, assessment, and remediation of significant security issues and risks.
• Managing multiple security remediation cases from identification to resolution and closure.
• Acting as the central point of contact between technical teams, cybersecurity teams, and business representatives.
• Ensuring risks are properly assessed, prioritized, and addressed according to the organization's risk appetite and security standards.
• Monitoring progress, identifying potential blockers, and coordinating necessary actions.
• Coordinating individuals involved in remediation processes to ensure timely delivery of agreed actions.
• Preparing and communicating updates to stakeholders about case status, risk levels, priorities, and next steps.
• Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all parties throughout the remediation process.
