Senior 3rd Line / Software Maintenance Engineer

EPAM is a global leader in AI transformation engineering and integrated consulting, serving Forbes Global 2000 companies and startups. The role is part of a global Cloud Hosting team working on Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Platforms and Interfaces.

• 5+ years of experience in platform DevOps with infrastructure experience on AWS or GCP
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS), including Vault, Kyverno, and policy management
• Proven scripting skills in Python, Ruby or Bash, with Infrastructure as Code approach
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Ansible
• Familiarity with AWS cloud, networking, and MongoDB
• Basic knowledge of the Go language with ability to learn quickly
• Strong communication skills and client centricity
• Ability to participate in the On-Call support rota (one week per 2-3 months, with bonus)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Own EKS cluster management and related automations as part of the global Cloud Hosting team
• Solve problems at every layer of the technology stack
• Develop high quality, stable code for automation and internal customer-facing APIs
• Participate in Support and On-call rota, providing customer support (one week per 2-3 months, with additional bonus)
• Write and publish High Level Designs and developer documentation
• Participate in planning release schedules, workload and priorities
• Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance, and resilience across services and infrastructure
• Perform analysis of requirements, investigate and implement best solutions
• Complete short and straightforward test tasks in Go before client interview
