Senior DevOps Engineer

payabl. is a licensed financial company specializing in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts through their platform payabl.one. They hold principal membership with card schemes and offer global financial services to businesses.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and cloud platforms.
• Proficient in provisioning infrastructure and configurations using Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Data lake services on AWS such as Glue and Athena.
• Linux experience including troubleshooting and scripting in Bash, Python, or Perl; familiarity with Debian, Ubuntu, and RHEL.
• Experience developing automation for CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kafka.
• Desire and ability to coach junior team members.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and English language skills.

• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters using infrastructure as code and deploy applications with Helm.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify platform pain points and problems.
• Develop new tools and frameworks to improve data platforms.
• Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.

The role is fully remote within Poland under a Contractor arrangement (B2B). English language skills at level B2 are required.
