AI Solution Developer

In KRUK Group, the AI platform named KAIN, KRUK AI Nest is being developed as a central AI Gateway for all group markets, enabling secure and scalable use of AI models, building AI agents, and integrating AI solutions with business processes and systems.

• Experience in creating and deploying backend applications or services.
• Very good knowledge of at least one programming language used for building solutions and integrations, preferably Python, also appreciated are C#/.NET or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with API, REST services, JSON formats, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and basics of cloud-native solution architecture.
• Experience with generative AI or LLMs, including model integration, prompt engineering, and building applications using language models.
• Knowledge of basic patterns for building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions, semantic search, and knowledge bases.
• Ability to design solutions considering security, access control, logging, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Git, code review best practices, testing, and CI/CD.
• Ability to diagnose problems in distributed solutions and system integrations.
• Ability to work with business requirements and translate them to technical tasks, architecture, and working solutions.
• Independence, responsibility for delivered components, readiness to work in interdisciplinary and international environment.
• Communicative English skills enabling cooperation with teams across KRUK Group markets.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure API Management, or AI Gateway platforms.
• Knowledge of frameworks for building agents and LLM applications such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar.
• Practical experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence, OCR, document classification, or data extraction.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, Managed Identity, Service Principal, and Role-Based Access Control mechanisms.
• Experience with Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, or other observability tools.
• Understanding Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and deploying solutions using Docker and Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps.
• Practice in testing and evaluating LLM solutions in terms of response quality, hallucinations, prompt robustness, cost, and latency.
• Awareness of responsible AI usage, data protection, and EU AI Act requirements.

• Develop the KAIN platform and its components that support AI models, agents, and services.
• Design and develop solutions using generative AI, Large Language Models, and agent architectures.
• Create services and API enabling integration of AI solutions with systems, applications, and workflows in KRUK Group.
• Implement solutions for analyzing, classifying, and extracting data from documents.
• Integrate models provided via Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, and other providers supported by KAIN.
• Prepare technical, functional, and integration tests, including quality tests for model responses and solution behavior upon model changes.
• Document architecture, API, configuration, deployment, and usage principles of developed components.
• Collaborate with business teams, developers, architects, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data, AI Governance, and local market teams.
• Support product and process teams in connecting their solutions to KAIN.
• Monitor production environments, diagnose and resolve issues.
• Experiment with new models, agent frameworks, and AI solution approaches, evaluating business usefulness.
