Senior Production Support Engineer

Crestt is recruiting for a Senior Production Support Engineer to join an international team supporting critical banking applications involved in payment processing, settlements, cash flow, workflow, and regulatory reporting.

• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience
• Very good practical knowledge of Linux/UNIX
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and databases
• Shell Scripting skills
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Experience in Production/Application Support
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Independence in diagnosing technical problems
• Very good command of English
• Ability to work in an international environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking or financial sector
• Knowledge of ELK, Kafka, Zookeeper, Geneos ITRS, Airflow, Control-M
• Process automation skills
• Practical use of AI tools to increase work efficiency

• Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management
• Technical support for production applications
• Monitoring environments and processes
• Analyzing and resolving incidents
• Collaborating with UNIX, Database, and Network teams
• Log and data analysis
• Automating repetitive tasks
• Supporting Disaster Recovery testing

• Collaboration with upstream/downstream systems teams
• Knowledge transfer and cross-training
