Senior Software Engineer

BOLD is a global organization that helps people find jobs by creating digital products empowering millions in 180 countries to build stronger resumes, cover letters, and CVs. Their PL engineering team maintains a portfolio of client-side rendered React apps with AI-enabled job-hunting capabilities, working on resume and cover letter builders, and white-label features for various brands.

• At least 4 years of experience developing high-availability B2C applications.
• Deep understanding of the client-side rendered TypeScript + React stack.
• Expertise in frontend best practices for readable, extensible, and maintainable code with performance-aware decisions.
• Experience with libraries and tools like React, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Vite, Rollup, and related frontend technologies.
• Ability to model and reason about multi-purpose monorepo codebases and make architectural decisions.
• Product-driven, customer-first mindset focusing on quality user experience.
• Experience debugging in mixed-ownership environments and implementing feature flags and A/B tests.
• Ability to collaborate with other engineering teams and coach others.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English (B2) and Polish (C1).

• Build and maintain microfrontend apps embedded within host codebases for client-side rendered SPAs and occasionally support SSR and orchestration-layer backend services.
• Collaborate with Lead and Principal Engineers on a monorepo architecture, ensuring code quality through reviews and automated checks.
• Provide guidance and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues.
• Meet with business stakeholders to discuss goals, analyze Figma designs, plan work, and delegate responsibilities.
• Act as a proxy for other developers to ensure their efforts align with examples and resolve blockers.
• Participate actively in team rituals and daily meetings to foster communication and problem-solving.

The role requires candidates to live in Poland or be willing to relocate to Poland for the position.
