Senior/Middle Information Developer

ELEKS Information Development Office is working on a web portal designed to automate insurance processes within the healthcare domain. The product is a large, long-term solution with complex functionality and processes that require clear, structured, and up-to-date product and technical documentation.

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Understanding of software documentation specifics
• Deep knowledge of software terminology
• Knowledge of technical documentation development methodology (DDLC) and its relation to SDLC
• Experience in setting up documentation processes
• Proven experience updating documentation according to templates
• Experience creating documentation and templates from scratch
• Proven experience in UX writing
• Advanced level of English

• Understand product requirements and identify documentation needs with minor supervision
• Identify client’s writing style and produce technical documentation conforming to standards (Microsoft, Apple, Chicago)
• Estimate documentation efforts and agree deadlines with Project Manager or Head of IDO
• Communicate documentation task status to ensure timely delivery
• Interview subject matter experts to obtain project details
• Create documentation templates for various outputs
• Write and edit interface and procedural documentation including user guides, installation guides, quick-reference guides, release notes, system configuration guides, and help systems
• Participate in competence development events of IDO
• Coach and mentor junior staff
