Senior Java Developer

emagine Polska is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work within the embedded banking service domain, focusing on developing new services and solutions. The position is based in Poland with preferred locations in Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia, operating under a hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in the office.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java software development.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Db2.
• Experience developing microservices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Ability to build distributed, high-throughput applications.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Maven, and JUnit.
• Knowledge of Specification-Driven Development (SDD) and SDD frameworks.

• Developing new services in the Embedded Banking Service Domain.
• Collaborating with a Scrum team to deliver high-quality software.
• Creating and maintaining microservices applications.
• Utilizing AI-assisted development tools in the coding process.
• Ensuring high availability and performance of distributed applications.

This position is based in Poland, preferably in Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw, within a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 60% office presence.
