AI/ML Engineer | remote

Our Client is a leading automotive and mobility organization operating a large dealer and service network across multiple business domains. The company is undergoing a major AI transformation, investing in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, automate document-heavy processes, and support better business decision-making. They are building an AI Factory responsible for delivering scalable, production-ready AI solutions across the organization.

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Practical experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Good understanding of model evaluation, experimentation, performance monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with MLflow or similar ML lifecycle platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based ML platforms, preferably Azure ML; familiarity with Vertex AI or AWS SageMaker also considered.
• Familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of AI governance, model documentation, and responsible AI principles.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.

Nice to have:

• Experience building Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with vector databases and embedding models.
• Experience with document intelligence, OCR, or intelligent document processing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI.
• Experience in the automotive, mobility, retail, or dealer-network domain.
• Knowledge of ML/AI deployment strategies: blue/green, canary, rolling, shadow deployments.
• Experience supporting AI solutions in regulated or highly governed environments.

• Design and develop machine learning solutions aligned with business goals.
• Build, train, evaluate, and optimize ML models for real-world use cases.
• Work across the complete ML lifecycle including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Develop solutions using structured and unstructured data.
• Deploy and operate ML models in production environments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, MLOps Engineers, Solution Architects, and AI/GenAI specialists.
• Define AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to AI governance and responsible AI practices: model documentation, transparency, event logging, and compliance.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, observable, and production-ready.
• Produce technical documentation and share knowledge.
• Support AI capability development within internal AI and Automation teams.
