Localization Project Manager

Awareson Sp. z o.o. is an international company involved in localization and multilingual content delivery across digital products and business functions.

• 5+ years of experience in localization, globalization, multilingual content delivery, or related area.
• Proven experience in project or program management.
• Experience working with Translation Management Systems (TMS) such as Smartling or Trados.
• Experience managing external localization or translation vendors.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
• Understanding of software, digital product, or content release processes.
• Strong planning, organization, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Very good English, both written and spoken (C1 level).
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, international environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with localization technology implementations or integrations.
• Familiarity with GitHub-based localization workflows and repository management.
• Experience coordinating UAT activities.
• Experience with release readiness processes.
• Knowledge of Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) and linguistic review processes.
• PMP, Scrum, Agile, or similar certification.
• Experience working in a large, global, matrix-based organization.
• Educational background in Localization, Linguistics, Communications, Project Management, or Information Systems.

• Manage localization projects end-to-end, from project intake and planning through delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate activities across internal stakeholders, Engineering teams, regional reviewers, and external vendors.
• Manage project priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate localization workflows to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Support digital product and content release processes, including release readiness and UAT activities.
• Coordinate vendor activities and monitor delivery against timelines and quality expectations.
• Track project risks, dependencies, issues, and operational challenges.
• Work with localization, quality, and linguistic teams to resolve delivery and quality issues.
• Provide regular project status updates and reporting to stakeholders.
• Maintain project dashboards, delivery metrics, and documentation.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure effective communication between teams.
• Identify recurring operational issues and opportunities to improve localization processes and workflows.
