QA Engineer (Mobile Applications)

• 6+ years as a QA Engineer, with at least 3 years automating mobile application tests
• Practical experience with mobile test automation using Appium and Katalon; familiarity with Espresso, UIAutomator2, or XCUITest
• Experience with frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
• Programming or scripting skills in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA or Confluence
• Experience with version control systems, especially GitHub
• Experience testing backend and APIs using tools like Postman, JMeter, or Charles Proxy
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in English for communication in international environments
• Experience using AI tools to enhance test automation while maintaining quality, reliability, and security
• Higher education in computer science, engineering, or related fields

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of security, privacy, or medical device regulations such as HIPAA or GDPR
• Certifications like ISTQB or similar
• Knowledge of SQL and experience validating data in databases
• Experience with SAFe Agile framework
• Hands-on experience with platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm for multi-device testing

• Transform existing manual test cases into automated end-to-end tests for iOS and Android applications
• Develop strategies to increase automated test coverage and reduce manual regression testing
• Determine high-value test cases for automation
• Maintain stable and reliable automated test suites, analyze failed tests, and identify unstable tests
• Analyze and report bugs; prepare detailed reports
• Develop shared automation framework components for new test scenarios
• Collaborate with product and development teams on acceptance criteria and testability of new features
• Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Ensure high quality and security of released applications
• Collaborate with other QA Engineers and Developers to share best practices in testing
