Cloud Engineer (IaaS) (m/f/n)

SHIMI Sp. z o.o. is delivering a project for an EU Organization based in Warsaw focused on cloud operations, platform engineering, automation, and support of enterprise-scale cloud environments.

• Minimum level of education: Level 6.
• Minimum English language skills (CEFR) B2.
• Minimum IT relevant professional experience 5 years.
• Minimum experience at similar position 2 years.
• EU citizenship is mandatory.
• Security clearance at "Confidential" level required, with application to be submitted within 45 days after project start; clearance can be obtained after joining.
• Technical knowledge of one or more enterprise Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud including Identity Management, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web Services, Mobile Services, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine Learning.
• Experience in building and managing Cloud services, including compute, storage, and network components.
• Strong scripting and programming skills using: PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows Command Prompt, Object-Oriented Programming languages.
• Proven experience in Linux administration and scripting (preferably Red Hat).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft systems administration.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security and Compliance, including auditing, monitoring, and compliance tools.
• Experience working with multiple support teams.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based processes: Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management.
• Microsoft Azure Certification, AWS Certification, or Google Cloud Certification (mid-level).

• Administer and monitor enterprise Cloud environments, including subscriptions, identities, resource management, and automation of processes and tasks.
• Monitor and report on Cloud resource utilization and consumption.
• Prepare, update, and maintain reports and workflows.
• Prepare, update, and maintain policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provision and de-provision development environments and DevOps projects.
• Provide 2nd line support to application development teams regarding Cloud Services and coordinate with 3rd line support teams.
• Participate in coordination and project meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• EU citizenship is mandatory.
