Senior Backend Engineer (PHP, Symfony) – Fluix Team

Readdle is a company in the personal productivity space on Apple devices since 2007. Fluix is a B2B workflow automation platform and a subsidiary of Readdle delivering workflow automation solutions to enterprise customers like Siemens, BMW, and more.

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with end-to-end feature ownership.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Symfony, with knowledge of system and API design, design patterns, clean code practices, and DDD.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and serverless architectures.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills with tools like Xdebug and Blackfire.
• Experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like ExpressJS or NestJS.
• Daily systematic use of AI in development workflows; experience with AI/LLM-powered product features is a plus.
• Good understanding of application security and OWASP principles; experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar is a plus.
• Autonomous and product-minded with ability to design solutions and drive them to production.

• Own features end-to-end from problem understanding to production and improvement.
• Design backend services, APIs, and data models with scalability and maintainability.
• Scope, decompose work, make architectural decisions, and present solutions.
• Challenge requirements and technical approaches to find better solutions.
• Build new functionality and refactor existing code with test coverage.
• Use data, logs, and customer feedback to investigate and make technical decisions.
• Use AI tools daily for development, code review, testing, documentation, and investigation.
• Automate repetitive work and improve observability, alerting, and release processes.
• Participate in on-call and support rotations, investigate incidents, and implement solutions.
• Prepare release plans and manage deployments.
• Collaborate closely with Backend, Frontend, iOS, Android, Support, and other teams.
• Continuously improve engineering practices, propose initiatives, and share knowledge.
