Senior Backend Developer

Antal is a leading recruitment and HR advisory company present in Poland since 1996 and expanded to the Czech Republic and Hungary. The company employs around 150 professionals across the CEE region and offers specialist and executive recruitment, employee outsourcing, HR consulting, employer branding, and market research services.

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong computer science skills with a willingness to learn.
• Experience with PHP and the Symfony framework preferred.
• Experience with MySQL or Postgres databases.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka messaging systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with the product owner through all parts of the development process including coding, testing, and delivery of features.
• Architect microservice-based systems.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Develop backends using PHP with the Symfony framework.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Test new technology stacks and experiment with various tools.
• Drive Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and projects.
• Create integrations between different systems.
• Maintain Kubernetes cloud-based infrastructure.
