ServiceNow Developer

This role involves work on a long-term international project delivered for a European Union Organisation based in Warsaw.

• Excellent hands-on experience administering and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, including on-premises experience
• Excellent hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow platform (ITSM and others)
• Experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions
• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and project management
• Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow products portfolio
• Strong knowledge of Service Management
• Experience creating SOPs and technical documentation
• Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration including Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST
• Understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability
• Knowledge of IT security standards
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certificate or equivalent
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate or equivalent

ServiceNow platform development:

• Implement new configurations and customizations of the ServiceNow platform
• Analyse and advise on requests for new functionalities
• Test and validate proposed changes
• Write and implement code on ServiceNow platform
• Run development projects with ServiceNow Architect and Administrator
• Perform application and code reviews to ensure system integrity
• Maintain up-to-date solution documentation including SOPs, user manuals, knowledge base articles

ServiceNow platform maintenance:

• Manage and maintain ServiceNow instance and its underlying components (binaries, configuration, key stores, tomcat, Java, backups, performance tuning)
• Maintain platform updates, upgrades, and application patches
• Ensure integrations with client's systems
• Manage and maintain MariaDB database files and services used by ServiceNow
• Provide daily support implementing standard changes
• Maintain current configurations and customizations
• Analyse and resolve application incidents and perform bug fixes

ServiceNow platform improvements:

• Provide recommendations for business requirements and contribute to technical designs
• Support ServiceNow Architect and Administrator in solution architecture and administration
• Support project planning
• Assist other teams with risk management, disaster recovery, security management
