Tech Lead for District GenAI

emagine is developing AI-enabled products for a client in the banking sector with a district-focused squad, emphasizing Generative AI product design, delivery, and governance in a regulated environment.

• Significant experience as a Technical Lead or equivalent role.
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Python.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS development tools such as Amazon Bedrock.
• Knowledge of secure development practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated industries such as banking or healthcare.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including DORA and GDPR.
• Experience with frontend technologies like React.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with LLM tooling and frameworks like LangChain.

• Define, evolve, and document the technical architecture for Generative AI (GenAI) products with a focus on scalability and compliance.
• Contribute production-quality code, perform code reviews, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Lead technical planning and delivery to balance architecture quality and schedules.
• Design and implement large language model (LLM)-based features, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Support the utilization and integration of AWS AI services, especially Amazon Bedrock.
• Provide technical input for governance and risk processes, including model risk management and GDPR compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including risk, security, and engineering.
• Communicate technical decisions and project progress to stakeholders clearly.
