Full-Stack Java Developer

The position involves working on business-critical applications within the financial services sector, contributing to technical solutions in a collaborative and agile development environment.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Java.
• Solid understanding of full-stack development across back-end and front-end layers.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern Java back-end frameworks.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and application integration.
• Practical experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of software development best practices, clean code, and version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar development environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience working in the financial services sector or on business-critical applications.
• Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.

• Designing, developing, and implementing full-stack applications using Java.
• Developing and maintaining robust back-end services and APIs.
• Working on front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Collaborating with business analysts, architects, testers, and other technical specialists to define and refine requirements.
• Participating in code reviews and following coding standards and best practices.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
• Contributing to technical architecture and solution design.
• Identifying opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Preparing and maintaining technical and application documentation.
• Actively participating in an Agile development team, including planning sessions, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

German language skills at a very advanced/fluent level and intermediate English are required, as these languages will be used in the professional environment.
