Java Backend Developer

This role is for backend developers to work on the Authentication & Wallet Tribe within a technology industry company. The focus is on enhancing core authentication and wallet products using modern backend technologies.

• Senior-level experience with modern Java (Java 21 / 25).
• Strong experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth/Authentication protocols.
• Proactive, independent mindset in high-workload environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI agents/LLM tools (e.g., OpenAI, Claude).
• Experience in Fintech, Wallet, or Identity systems.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices for core authentication and wallet products.
• Take proactive ownership of tasks and drive solutions independently.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and product owners to manage backlogs effectively.
• Develop secure API integrations that adhere to core security standards (OAuth).
