Senior DevOps Engineer - Application Management

The Default Management team supports the lending business by providing data solutions for ongoing loan servicing and monitoring.

• Expert knowledge of DevOps methodologies
• Expertise in operating and automating end-to-end data pipelines
• Strong communication skills for professional teaching and conveying messages
• Skills in coaching team members on performance, standards, and work methods
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage challenging conversations such as performance assessments
• Multiple years of experience in application management, operations, or monitoring
• Over 5 years of experience in DW, BI, and analytics within engineering, test, development, or architecture
• Preferred team/technical leader experience
• ELT/ETL development experience using GUI-based tools (e.g., IBM Datastage, ADF, Stitch, Matillion)
• Data/Software Engineering skills in Java, Scala, Python, and SQL
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools like Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, Bitbucket
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and release processes
• Automate monitoring and reconciliation
• Release deployment, verification, follow-up, and incident investigations and management
• Manage application provider, governance, and compliance
• Operate and monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DataOps/BizDevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle
• Support BizDevOps ambitions alongside architects and hardware/infrastructure engineers
