Lead Full Stack Engineer (Java + Angular)

Upvanta is developing and maintaining full stack business applications for a European public sector organization, involving frontend, backend, integrations, databases, and cloud solutions.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software and Java application development.
• At least 4 years of experience with Angular 7+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Experience with REST API, OpenAPI/Swagger, and system integrations.
• Practical knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and working in Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure software development principles.
• Very good English language skills (minimum B2).
• AWS or Azure Associate level certification or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, quickly onboard, and collaborate in an international environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Groovy and Grails.
• Knowledge of DevOps and ITIL.
• Experience in projects for public administration or EU institutions.
• Additional cloud certifications.
