Functional Tester

Join the Broker Team at IPF Digital, focusing on ensuring reliable integrations between internal systems and external brokers across markets. The role involves working with backend and frontend solutions including API, database, and mobile testing to maintain quality and user experience across all IPF Digital operations and markets in Poland.

• Over 4 years of experience in software testing, including Functional, Integration, E2E, and UAT testing.
• Practical knowledge of testing activities within SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with REST API and SQL-based backend testing and frontend testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in financial services or banking is a strong advantage.
• Experience with test automation, Robot Framework, or programming languages such as Java, Groovy, or Python is advantageous.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

• Turn business requirements, functional specifications and use cases into effective test scenarios and manual test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, E2E and UAT testing.
• Test REST APIs, system integrations, and databases using SQL.
• Validate customer-facing functionality across web and mobile devices.
• Carry out test-script dry runs, peer reviews, and structured test execution.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owner to understand requirements and ensure meaningful test coverage.
• Support test automation by executing and maintaining automated tests.
• Communicate clearly in Polish and English to facilitate collaboration across international teams.
