Senior Animation Programmer

• Minimum five years of professional programming experience
• Expertise in C/C++
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with multi-threaded and allocator-aware programming
• Experience with memory and performance optimization
• Knowledge of animation graphs, blend trees, and state machines (e.g., Unreal, Havok Animation, Morpheme)
• Solid understanding of 3D mathematics and linear algebra
• Proficiency in algorithm design, software architecture, and design
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and extensible code focusing on reusability
• Great communication skills, enthusiasm, and initiative
• Very good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience on at least one shipped multiplayer title
• Familiarity with animation technologies such as compression, motion synthesis, ragdoll physics, IK
• UX and tool creation experience
• Console programming experience
• Experience with Maya, Motion Builder, or other digital content creation tools
• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with animation processing and deployment pipelines

• Research, develop, maintain, and improve gameplay and cinematic animation systems with flexibility for AI, designers, and animators
• Take ownership of gameplay and cinematic animation features from content creation tools to engine runtime
• Collaborate with programmers, designers, and artists to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and enhance animation workflow efficiency
• Work closely with animation leads and director to improve animation quality
• Profile, identify, and fix bottlenecks in data processing pipelines and tools concerning performance, memory, network, and IO
• Create documentation for gameplay and cinematic teams
• Stay current on animation technology trends and developments
