Conflicts Analyst

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; background in law, compliance, finance, or related field is advantageous but not required
• At least one year experience in conflict of interest, risk, and compliance reviews within an international law firm
• Familiarity with IntappOpen is preferred
• Fluency in English at C1 level or higher
• Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills with ability to present findings clearly
• Attention to detail and organized approach to workload and administration

• Review intake requests for completeness and accuracy of client and matter information
• Conduct internal and external conflicts checks using Dentons' and external databases
• Investigate corporate structures and management profiles for conflict, sanctions, and AML analysis
• Identify and escalate potential legal, commercial, sanctions, or reputational conflicts per firm policies
• Coordinate with Dentons offices globally to seek relevant clearances
• Complete new client onboarding and ongoing monitoring refreshes for non-AML regulated mandates
• Assist in reviewing engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and confidentiality terms
• Maintain accurate records and manage data according to firm policies
• Implement information barriers and document security processes to resolve confidential information issues
• Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and resolve challenges
• Serve as a point of contact for new business intake matters within Europe and Global Regions
• Collaborate with sub-teams to ensure appropriate assessment of new business intake submissions
• Ensure review and processing of new business intake follows regional and global firm policies
• Support application of regional frameworks and requirements
