Chief Data Officer (k/m)

Lumicode Sp. z o.o. is part of the Pentacomp Group, a producer of IT solutions and provider of professional IT services for large enterprises and the public sector. Pentacomp has nearly 30 years of market presence with many completed projects. The role is within an organization from the energy sector.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Chief Data Officer (CDO) or equivalent role with comparable responsibilities
• Experience building and implementing data strategies in large organizations
• Practical experience designing and implementing Data Governance
• Experience managing data transformation involving multiple business units/organizations
• Strong knowledge of Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Architecture
• Experience building Data Ownership/Data Stewardship models
• Knowledge of Metadata Management and Data Lineage
• Understanding of data usage in AI/ML and GenAI
• Experience working with Management Board and C-level executives
• Ability to combine business, organizational, and technological perspectives
• Knowledge of modern cloud solutions, data warehouses, and Data Governance tools

Nice to have:

• Experience in the energy sector
• Experience in other large regulated sectors, e.g., banking, insurance, telecommunications, or the public sector
• Experience in capital group/multi-company organizational structures
• Experience with AI and data-driven transformation projects

• Create and execute the Group's data strategy
• Design and implement the Data Governance model
• Develop a Data Governance framework including Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Co-create the target data architecture and ecosystem
• Prepare the organization and data for scaling AI, ML, and advanced analytics
• Build a data-driven culture and develop Data Literacy
• Develop the Data Ownership model and collaborate with business data owners
• Collaborate with the Management Board, C-level executives, business, IT, AI teams, and Cybersecurity
• Lead data transformation across multiple business units and entities within the Group
