Proxy Product Owner IT (k/m)

PZU Tech S.A., located in Warszawa, operates in a large insurance sector transformation program. The role involves cooperating with business teams, IT, architecture, and suppliers in an end-to-end product delivery model.

• Strong knowledge of the Product Owner role and software development processes.
• Very good knowledge of Scrum and practical experience with Scrum teams.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Miro tools.
• Knowledge and experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience in designing, monitoring, and analyzing product, business, and operational metrics (e.g., TTM, ROI, KPIs, OKRs, NPS).
• Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent).
• Decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make product decisions under uncertainty and manage trade-offs between scope, time, cost, and quality.
• Very good understanding of technology, systems, APIs, integrations, and technological constraints.
• Ability to assess the impact of technological decisions on the product.
• Experience conducting discovery activities, including research, workshops, and user needs analysis.
• Experience managing organizational resistance and change.
• Experience delivering at least 3 commercial products, including at least one in the insurance sector.
• Willingness to provide services in Poland and work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite in Warszawa, 2 days remote).
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience implementing leading market systems for claims and benefits (EIS or Guidewire).
• Collaboration with UX and understanding of design processes.
• Basic knowledge of SQL/logs.
• Facilitation skills for workshops (story mapping, event storming).
• Knowledge of GA4 or similar tools.
• Encouraging teams to use A/B testing, experiments, and conversion optimization.
• Advanced Agile/Scaling certifications (PSM II, SAFe, LeSS).
• Use of AI for working with needs, backlog, and product.

• Manage the product backlog and prioritize based on business value.
• Create and maintain product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and influence product development direction.
• Monitor progress and achievement of product goals.
• Ensure transparency and proper understanding of the backlog by the team and stakeholders.
• Create complete User Stories and split requirements into releasable elements.
• Collaborate practically with Scrum teams following Scrum methodology.
• Coordinate cooperation between business, IT, architecture, and suppliers.
• Support product decisions and end-to-end implementation within the transformation program.

Candidates must be willing to provide services on the territory of Poland and work hybrid in Warszawa (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
