• Bachelor's degree in IT Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in service asset and configuration management or IT asset management (ITAM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing configuration management processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.
• Knowledge of configuration management and ITAM tools and methodologies.
• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or equivalent certification.
• ITIL Foundation Certification focused on service management principles.

• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all configuration items (CIs), including hardware, software, licenses, and documentation.
• Classify configuration items based on criticality, usage, and organizational value.
• Oversee the lifecycle of configuration items from acquisition to decommissioning.
• Identify opportunities to optimize utilization of configuration items and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, legal, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure configuration items and manage vendor relationships.
• Identify and manage risks including security vulnerabilities and maintenance challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of configuration information, contracts, licenses, and warranties.
• Coordinate changes to configuration items and conduct impact assessments.
• Generate reports and analyze data related to configuration management for decision-making.
• Plan and oversee proper disposal or decommissioning of retired configuration items responsibly.
