Senior Fulstack Engineer with Node.js

At KraftCode, you will join an experienced international engineering team working on a large-scale US-based technology platform. The role involves developing new functionality and migrating existing Elixir-based services to Node.js and TypeScript as part of platform modernization.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Solid experience with React.js and modern web development
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and GraphQL
• Good understanding of modern application architecture, scalability, and performance
• Experience with AWS and distributed systems
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
• Proficient with Docker and CI/CD
• Very good English and strong communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Elixir / Phoenix, especially for migrating functionality to Node.js
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Datadog or Splunk
• Experience with Helm
• Experience with high-traffic applications
• Mentoring and code review experience

• Develop new functionality on a high-scale digital platform
• Migrate existing Elixir-based services to Node.js and TypeScript
• Design and integrate REST APIs and GraphQL services
• Work with event-driven architectures, messaging, or notification systems
• Apply testing and production-grade software development practices
