Senior Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join a team developing technically demanding solutions for a Silicon Valley-based technology company in the security space.

• Several years of commercial software development experience with Python.
• Proven experience building complex, reliable and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and system design.
• Ability to independently solve complex technical problems and make sound engineering decisions.
• Experience working with complex, established codebases.
• Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and drive them through to completion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to engineering.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with experienced engineers.
• Willingness to contribute to technical discussions and share knowledge with other engineers.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Go.
• Knowledge of networking, distributed systems or network infrastructure.
• Experience with cybersecurity or security-focused products.
• Background in IT infrastructure, aviation or other technically demanding domains.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers.
• Practical experience using AI tools as part of the software development workflow.

• Designing, developing and maintaining reliable, scalable software.
