Lead Software Engineer (Python)

Braver IT S.A. is looking for a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Python to take ownership of technical development and help build an engineering team. The role involves working on complex, reliable, and mission-critical systems within demanding domains such as IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or aviation.

• Several years of commercial software development experience with Python.
• Experience building complex, reliable, and mission-critical systems.
• Proven track record of contributing to challenging technology projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make independent technical decisions.
• High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability.
• Experience working with existing codebases and extending established solutions.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and deepen domain knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Go.
• Knowledge of networking, network infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, aviation, or other technically demanding domains.
• Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
• Practical experience using AI in software development.
