Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular)

Centage builds Planning Maestro, a B2B SaaS FP&A platform used by finance teams across the US. The product covers budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The engineering team in Poland, just over a dozen people, owns the entire product including backend, frontend, data, QA, and infrastructure.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial software development experience.
• Very strong command of Java, Angular, and TypeScript proven by production experience.
• Practical experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.
• Understanding of caching strategies with Redis.
• Working knowledge of AWS to maintain production systems.
• Proficient English language skills for communication in writing and meetings.
• Availability for working hours overlapping with US teams (minimum three hours daily, with workday starting between 8:30 and 10:00 CET).

• Maintain and develop production systems using Java, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server.
• Diagnose and fix slow queries.
• Implement caching strategies using Redis.
• Maintain production code running on AWS.
• Collaborate with the US team with at least three hours overlap daily.
• Use AI tooling effectively to assist in development and codebase changes.

Nice to have:

• Experience in finance, ERP, or reporting systems.
• Work with observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, JVM profilers.
• Experience in SOC 2 or similar compliance environments.
