Head of AI (Tech & Business Transformation)

Comarch operates in the telecommunications sector providing solutions such as BSS/OSS, Network Management, Customer Experience, and IoT to major telecom operators globally. The company is in a phase of dynamic growth supported by a global Private Equity fund, combining 30 years of technological experience with a transformative approach in the telco market.

• Minimum 5+ years of practical AI experience including design, implementation, or commercialization involving GenAI, LLM, Agentic AI, Machine Learning.
• Technical background enabling effective technical dialogue with R&D teams and engineers, understanding AI model lifecycle, MLOps, RAG, and system integration without daily coding.
• Proven track record of AI deployment delivering measurable business ROI.
• Experience in matrix/dotted line organizational structures with leadership in setting and managing clear business goals.
• Ability to audit and optimize processes with AI tools enhancing efficiency.
• Business mindset with ability to build C-level client relationships and redefine value propositions.
• Fluent English skills at minimum C1 level.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with at least 2 days per week in Kraków office.

Nice to have:

• Experience in consulting firms such as Big4 or top strategic/technological agencies delivering AI projects in IT or telecom.
• Experience in scale-up environments or Private Equity portfolio companies.
• Deep practical knowledge of modern AI ecosystem including GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI, MLOps, and Fine-tuning.

• Drive business creation and commercialization of AI deployments for telecommunications products and processes.
• Develop and execute a long-term AI transformation strategy for BSS/OSS products and telco solutions.
• Initiate and oversee projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing operational costs through AI tools and agents.
• Manage technical teams in a dotted line model, setting business priorities and goals without direct HR management.
• Collaborate closely with Chief AI Officer, AI leaders across Comarch sectors, key telco enterprise clients, and technology partners.

Work in a hybrid model with readiness to be present in Kraków office minimum 2 days a week. English fluency at minimum C1 level required due to international environment.
