Test Automation Engineer

The project involves writing functionality for journalists to report their effort and be paid accordingly. It replaces an outdated solution by migrating the current user portal running in Azure with AWS Lambda functions connected to Amazon SQS to MARS. The backend and Lambda functions are written in Java, and the frontend uses JavaScript and React.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in API testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in UI testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Cypress.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Postman.

• Combine manual and automated testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Maintain and develop UI automation implemented in Cypress (JavaScript).
• Perform API testing using Postman collections executed via Newman in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Evaluate and potentially consolidate UI and API testing into a single automation framework.
