Devops Engineer

Get IT Together specializes in providing highly qualified IT experts in project management, architecture, business and system analysis, and software development. The client is from the energy sector.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as DevOps/SysOps
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with HashiCorp tools: Nomad, Consul, Vault
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Container Network Interface (CNI), and Container Storage Interface (CSI)
• Experience with containerization, provisioning, infrastructure configuration, IaC, CI/CD, and container orchestration using tools such as Docker, Podman, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Nomad
• Knowledge of networking concepts including addressing, forward/reverse proxy, encryption, hashing, load balancing, firewalls, autoscaling, deployment, and monitoring of applications and infrastructure
• Good knowledge of Linux systems, preferably RHEL
• Knowledge of software development processes and automation
• Ability to create automation scripts using Bash, Python or Go
• Proficiency in English for communication and technical documentation analysis

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of HTTP Reverse Proxy servers such as NGINX, Apache, or Fabio
• Knowledge of virtualization systems, network, and storage (e.g., VMware ESX, Hyper-V, vSAN, NAS)
• Experience with task management tools like Jira
• Familiarity with shared data storage and object stores (NAS, Gluster, S3, MinIO)
• Knowledge of securing application servers and operating systems (OWASP, ModSecurity, SELinux)
• Ability to create technical documentation using MS Visio, Enterprise Architect, or Confluence

• Build, develop, configure and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
• Manage container environments and container orchestration using HashiCorp Nomad and Kubernetes
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, security mechanisms, and monitoring of applications and systems
• Create scripts to automate administrative and operational tasks
• Prepare and update technical documentation
