Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular)

Centage builds Planning Maestro, a B2B SaaS FP&A platform used by finance teams across the US. The engineering team in Poland is just over a dozen people and owns the entire product: backend, frontend, data, QA and infrastructure.

• At least 4 years of commercial software development experience
• Very strong command of Java, Angular, and TypeScript, proven by work on systems kept running in production
• Practical experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server, including diagnosing and fixing slow queries
• Understanding of caching strategies with Redis
• Working knowledge of AWS to keep code running in production
• Strong command of AI tooling used in the development process, with practical examples
• Minimum three hours overlap with US team daily, working day starting between 8:30 and 10:00 CET
• English communication skills sufficient for writing and meetings with product team

Nice to have:

• Experience in finance, ERP or reporting systems
• Experience with observability tooling: OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, JVM profilers
• Experience in a SOC 2 environment or comparable compliance regime

• Product features end to end, from the data model to the interface
• The calculation engine and the performance of operations over large financial datasets
• Integrations with customer ERP systems and other data sources
• Modernization of older parts of the system, including data model migrations
• Quality: tests, code review, observability and response to production issues
