Lead HPC Kubernetes Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or HPC
• Expertise in Kubernetes including cluster operation at scale, node pool sizing, scheduler debugging, CNI troubleshooting, and rolling upgrades
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, EFS, FSx for Lustre
• Skills in Python for tooling and automation
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine
• Familiarity with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform

• Operate Kubernetes platforms (EKS, CKS, GKE) at significant scale across cloud providers
• Own cluster lifecycle management, node pool sizing, networking policies, and stability during rapid growth
• Provision HPC infrastructure using CI/CD across multiple cloud providers
• Manage job scheduling to allocate GPU resources for training and inference
• Define and maintain service-level indicators and objectives (SLIs/SLOs)
• Build monitoring and alerting systems
• Participate in severity escalation responses and author post-incident reviews
• Coordinate daily with Networking, Storage, Security, and AI/ML platform teams
