Lead Python Developer

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with full system implementation life-cycles including analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support
• Expertise in Python
• Understanding of application security
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision
• Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies including unit testing
• Excellent English communication skills and client-facing experience

• Communicate directly with clients daily to collect and analyze business needs
• Create documentation including PRDs, test cases, and design docs
• Develop applications from idea to ready product as sole developer
• Build and maintain a scalable, high-performance platform
• Deliver on time with quality while managing multiple tasks
• Contribute to a transparent, trust-based engineering culture
• Question the status quo and encourage individual mastery and autonomy
• Apply cloud technologies and microservices architecture
• Ensure application security throughout development lifecycle
• Support information management, data modeling, and system integration
• Perform unit testing and follow development methodologies
