Senior / Solution Architect (Python & Go)

Core Technologies & Quality:

• Very good knowledge of Go (concurrent services, UDP/TCP servers, pprof).
• Deep knowledge of Async Python (asyncio internals: event loop, tasks, cancellation, backpressure, multiprocess worker pools).
• Code quality focus: static typing (mypy, golangci-lint), pre-commit gates, async unit tests, CI load tests, dependency hygiene, and CVE management.

Networking & Discrete Data Transmission:

• Knowledge of L2/L3/L4 headers, VLAN, MAC/IP semantics, TCP flags, MTU/fragmentation, IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience with telemetry protocols: IPFIX (RFC 7011), NetFlow v5/v9, sFlow v5.
• Ability to analyze and create packets and use pcap files for debugging.
• Network device automation via SSH/CLI and vendor APIs.

Data & Performance:

• Protobuf (schema design, evolution, codegen) and fast JSON/binary codecs for hot-path infrastructure.
• Apache Kafka (partitioning, acks, batching, compression, lag diagnostics, SASL/Kerberos).
• Basic work with time-series/columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse).
• Performance engineering: continuous profiling, data structure optimization (LPM/Patricia tries for subnet lookup, LRU caches, fast hashing).

Systems & Delivery:

• Deep Linux knowledge (sockets, epoll, sysctl tuning for high packet traffic, cgroups).
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes (multi-stage builds, manifests), rollout automation, rollbacks, and upgrades.
• IPC patterns (ZeroMQ or equivalent) and distributed state design (cache/state-sync, eventual consistency, idempotent replay).

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with eBPF.
• Experience with alternative queue systems: NSQ or NATS.
• Integration with Windows/Active Directory environments (WinRM, SMB, Kerberos).
• Knowledge of major cloud providers' SDKs (AWS or Azure) for log and asset ingestion.

• Design and develop high-performance, concurrent services in Go and Async Python.
• Create architectures for processing large volumes of data in real-time (high-throughput decode loops).
• Develop and maintain network integrations involving L2/L3/L4 protocols, flow telemetry (IPFIX, NetFlow, sFlow), and network device automation (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• Optimize system performance through profiling, memory allocation management, reducing garbage collection pressure, and zero-copy paths.
• Design data schemas and transmission using Protocol Buffers, Apache Kafka, and columnar/wide-column databases (ClickHouse).
• Implement and package software (containerization, building static images, deb/rpm packages) and manage lifecycle in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
