Senior QA Engineer

Optiveum is recruiting a Senior Quality Assurance Tester for an international organization in the banking and finance sector. The role focuses on ensuring quality in applications and ecosystems within the Mortgage domain. Cooperation is under a B2B contract with Optiveum.

• 10+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong background in the Mortgages domain.
• Strong manual testing skills including Functional, System & Integration, API, and PEGA testing.
• Proven End-to-End (E2E) testing experience.
• Experience with PEGA and REST API testing.
• General testing knowledge equivalent to ISTQB Foundation Level.
• Experience defining, executing, and reporting tests using test management tools (e.g., qTest, Xray, HP ALM).
• Practical experience in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive tester mindset.
• Ability to work in an international, cross-country environment.
• Willingness to learn and understand new tools and processes.
• Advanced proficiency in both Polish and English.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Knowledge of automated API testing tools (e.g., Postman collections, REST Assured, Cypress).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• System Testing experience for modern Web and Mobile UIs.

• Perform End-to-End (E2E) testing of applications and ecosystems within the Mortgage domain.
• Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, create test cases, and execute manual functional tests across user workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers for resolution; perform retesting and regression testing.
• Review functional requirements for completeness and testability; participate in refinement sessions.
• Verify integration points between system components; validate data flow and test third-party integrations from a functional perspective.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners; participate in Agile ceremonies; communicate test progress and estimates.
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics; plan and execute regression tests; support UAT activities.
