Solution Delivery Competence Leader

N-iX is a global software development service company founded in 2002, uniting over 2,400 professionals across 40+ countries. The company works on projects spanning cloud, data, AI/ML, embedded software, and IoT for industries including finance, manufacturing, telecom, and healthcare.

Must have:

• Delivered solution-based or fixed-price software projects end-to-end with accountability for scope, timeline, and profitability.
• Led complex multi-million-dollar engagements; experience with $5M+ projects or programs preferred.
• Experienced in project setup before kickoff including estimation, staffing calibration, governance, and client reporting cadence.
• Technically proficient to challenge estimates or technical proposals.
• Experience working in services or outsourcing companies with external paying clients.
• Hands-on use of AI tools and accelerators in delivery and understanding of their impact on estimation and progress reporting.

Must be:

• Willing to hand projects over and move on repeatedly.
• Open to existing effective practices within the company.
• Able to balance winning new leads with structured delivery organization.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI DLC implementation.
• Experience managing distributed teams across multiple countries.
• Experience with European and US-based clients.
• Mentoring or community-building experience.

First month:

• Map existing solution-based project management practices, processes, and artifacts.

First 6–12 months – prove and build the model:

• Lead one or two large solution projects ($500K–$1M).
• Own estimate validation and commercial framing.
• Manage planning, project baseline, and scope.
• Form core team and ensure staffing readiness.
• Manage project P&L including cost and margin.
• Handle assumptions, dependencies, and risk.
• Oversee governance with cadence, metrics, reporting, escalation.
• Optimize delivery and PM processes using AI.

In parallel – build and scale the competence:

• Build the PM Task Force and own the Solution Delivery Runbook.
• Collect and pilot practices from real projects to develop reusable models, templates, tools, and accelerators.
• Drive AI adoption across project management practices.

Throughout – advise:

• Diagnose projects in crisis and provide recovery plans.
• Collaborate on pre-sale delivery validation with technical leaders.
