MLOps Engineer (k/m)

OLIMP is a strategic transformation program of the PZU Group executed at the intersection of business and technology. The project creates a modern ecosystem for claims and benefits handling, based on data, automation, AI, and workflow processes, aiming to set new standards in customer service in the Polish insurance market. It involves experts from many specializations jointly designing and implementing one of the most important development programs in PZU's history. Participation offers the opportunity to work on a strategic initiative impacting the future of client service and the development of modern technologies in the insurance sector.

• Minimum 3 years experience in DevOps, MLOps, or Software Engineering with practical production ML model work.
• Advanced skills in containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Ingress.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms, especially Azure, including Azure ML, AKS, Azure Container Registry, or experience with GCP/AWS and readiness to quickly transition to Azure.
• Experience building ML-specific CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Proficient programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell.
• Practical use of MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, or cloud-native model lifecycle management solutions.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Technical higher education in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• "Automation First" mindset to minimize manual work through scripts and tools.
• Ability to work at the intersection of Data Science and IT Operations teams.
• Proactive in resolving performance issues and production incidents.
• Service provision from Poland territory.
• Hybrid work model with minimum 1 day per week onsite attendance.

• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Ingress.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for ML workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Operate and manage cloud environments primarily on Azure (Azure ML, AKS, Azure Container Registry) or alternatively GCP/AWS.
• Use infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Work with MLflow, Kubeflow, or native cloud MLOps tools to manage ML model lifecycle.
• Provide services with a hybrid work model requiring minimum 1 day per week on-site in Warsaw office and remote work balance.

Nice to have:

• Azure certifications: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) or Azure AI Engineer (AI-102).
• Experience implementing large language models (LLM) and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud networking concepts like VPN, VNet, and Private Endpoints.
• Knowledge of vector databases, e.g., in Azure AI Search context.

Services must be provided from the territory of Poland. The role requires hybrid work with at least one day per week spent at the Warsaw office. The data administrator is PZU TECH SA, with specified data protection policies and contact details.
