Solution Architect (Python, Go)

Shimi Sp. z o.o. is recruiting a Solution Architect specializing in Python and Go for a client. The role involves designing and maintaining networked concurrent services with strong focus on performance, quality, and networking protocols.

• Expert proficiency in Python with async programming experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Go (Golang) for concurrent services.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols including L2/L3/L4, VLANs, TCP/IP, IPv4/v6.
• Experience with flow telemetry protocols: IPFIX, NetFlow, sFlow.
• Familiarity with packet capture tools (pcap) and network device automation (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• Knowledge of serialization technologies like Protocol Buffers.
• Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka, and optionally NSQ or NATS.
• Understanding of columnar/time-series databases like ClickHouse.
• Strong skills in profiling, performance engineering, and appropriate data structures.
• Familiarity with Linux internals, containers, Kubernetes, and IPC.
• Optional: experience with eBPF, Windows/AD integration, cloud SDKs (Azure or AWS).
• Fluent in English (B2) and Polish (B2).

Core languages:

• Develop concurrent services with Go including UDP/TCP servers and profiling with pprof.
• Work with async Python including asyncio, async HTTP client/server, and multi-process worker pools.

Quality discipline:

• Use static typing tools mypy, golangci-lint, formatters, linters, and pre-commit gates.
• Perform async unit tests, snapshot tests for decoders, and load tests in CI.
• Maintain dependency and CVE hygiene, reproducible pinned builds.

Networking depth:

• Handle L2/L3/L4 headers, VLANs, TCP flags, MTU/fragmentation, IPv4 and IPv6.
• Work with flow telemetry protocols: IPFIX (RFC 7011), NetFlow v5/v9, sFlow v5 with template-based decode.
• Use packet capture (pcap) for debugging.
• Automate network devices over SSH/CLI and vendor APIs (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto); config push and drift detection.

Data movement:

• Design and evolve Protocol Buffers schemas and codegen.
• Manage Kafka producer/consumer semantics including partitioning, batching, compression, SASL/Kerberos.
• Use columnar/timeseries sinks like ClickHouse.

Performance engineering:

• Routine profiling covering allocation, GC pressure, lock contention, zero-copy optimizations.
• Apply data structures like LPM/Patricia tries, LRU caches, fast hashing.
• Conduct load generation and throughput testing.

Systems and delivery:

• Work with Linux internals: sockets, epoll, sysctl tuning, cgroups/resource limits.
• Utilize eBPF (optional).
• Use containers and Kubernetes with multi-stage builds.
• Deliver static/frozen binaries with packaging and upgrade-rollback support.
• Use IPC patterns such as ZeroMQ.

Distributed state:

• Design cache/state-sync with eventual consistency and idempotent replay.

Identity and cloud integrations (plus):

• Work on Windows/AD: WinRM, SMB, Kerberos.
• Integrate major cloud SDKs (Azure or AWS) for asset and log ingestion.

Dane osobowe będą przetwarzane do czasu zakończenia postępowania rekrutacyjnego i przez okres możliwości dochodzenia ewentualnych roszczeń, a w przypadku wyrażenia zgody na udział w przyszłych postępowaniach rekrutacyjnych - do czasu wycofania tej zgody. Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie. Odbiorcą danych jest serwis Just Join IT oraz inne podmioty, którym powierzyliśmy przetwarzanie danych w związku z rekrutacją.
