Senior Python Engineer

• Expert-level knowledge of Python, including OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Experience with scientific and mathematical computing libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy, statistical methods, and probabilistic models.
• Backend development experience using FastAPI, Flask, Django, REST APIs, microservices, and async processing.
• Skills in performance and scalability including parallel computing, distributed systems, multiprocessing, profiling, and optimization.
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with cloud and DevOps tools: Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Digital Twin, Reliability Analytics, Asset Performance Management, and Risk Analytics.
• Experience with simulation and optimization techniques including Monte Carlo, Discrete Event Simulation, RBD, FMEA, Weibull Analysis, GRP, and Maintenance Optimization.

• Own the design, development, and continuous evolution of core simulation and analytics capabilities powering Digital Twin and Reliability Analytics solutions.
• Deliver scalable, maintainable, high-performance software components aligned with product goals and release commitments.
• Lead development of simulation-driven applications, computational engines, and analytics capabilities supporting reliability assessment, risk evaluation, optimization, and decision support.
• Drive productization of mathematical models, simulation algorithms, scientific workflows, and prototype solutions into enterprise-grade software products.
• Design and develop modular backend services, APIs, orchestration services, and data processing frameworks for enterprise-scale deployment.
• Lead performance engineering initiatives including profiling, benchmarking, optimization, parallel processing, distributed execution, and runtime efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with reliability engineers, architects, product teams, and data scientists to translate complex domain concepts into scalable software solutions.
• Own software quality through automated testing, validation frameworks, code reviews, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and influence long-term evolution of simulation and analytics platforms.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for Python development, scientific computing, simulation platforms, and software engineering excellence.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams ensuring delivery commitments on schedule, with quality and predictable execution.
• Identify technical risks, remove delivery blockers, and drive engineering solutions to support program objectives.
• Support transition from MVP development to enterprise-scale product deployment ensuring extensibility and maintainability.
• Continuously improve simulation accuracy, system performance, engineering productivity, product quality, and customer outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with software engineering standards, security requirements, governance policies, and operational procedures.
