DevOps Engineer / Engineerka (AWS)

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and/or Kustomize
• Experience working with AWS services, especially EKS, IAM, IRSA, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, EFS
• Experience with Azure services, including AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Registry, Key Vault, Azure Monitor
• Expert knowledge of Terraform, including module creation and remote state management for AWS/Azure
• Expert experience with GitHub Actions
• Understanding of cloud and Kubernetes networking and security
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch
• Proficient in automation using Python or Bash

Nice to have:

• Experience migrating from AKS to EKS
• Experience migrating pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions
• Experience with JupyterHub / JupyterLab on Kubernetes, especially on AWS EKS
• Experience with Zero to JupyterHub Helm Chart, OAuth2/OIDC, persistent storage, resource quotas, autoscaling
• Experience integrating JupyterHub with S3, EFS, or IAM/IRSA

• Work on migration of Kubernetes environments from Azure to AWS
• Participate in projects involving AWS, Azure, EKS, and AKS
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
• Address technological challenges related to infrastructure, data, and application migration
• Work with JupyterHub / JupyterLab and large-scale Kubernetes environments
• Develop experience in cloud security, networking, and observability
• Collaborate on designing and maintaining production cloud-native environments
