Principal Software Engineer

For over 50 years, SimCorp has worked closely with investment and asset managers to provide integrated investment management solutions. SimCorp is an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group and recently merged with Axioma to offer a full front-to-back solution for clients. The company has over 3,000 employees with diverse nationalities and professional backgrounds.

• Experience with APL and/or C# .Net.
• Knowledge of Web APIs.
• Understanding of code design and architecture.
• Experience with Git (Azure DevOps) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure as Code.
• At least 5 years of C# programming experience.
• Ability to solve complex problems in a structured manner.
• Enthusiasm for building state-of-the-art software.
• Good coordination skills with both programmers and non-programmers.
• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Finance, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or similar.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of financial domain is a plus, with onboarding and training provided if lacking.

• Coordinate and execute development and maintenance in collaboration with product owners and other teams.
• Investigate and implement best practices for code quality.
• Ensure a coherent user experience in close collaboration with product owners.
• Learn about the users and the business value delivered to them.
• Integrate SimCorp Dimension and Axioma Risk solutions.
