Data Engineer

This position is in the IT / energy sector and combines Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Business Consulting. The role requires a senior professional who can integrate strong data platform expertise with stakeholder engagement and solution consulting. The project language is English and the location is remote.

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Platform.
• Strong Power BI knowledge.
• Good SQL and DAX skills.
• Data modeling experience.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Business analysis and KPI definition experience.
• Ability to engage with business stakeholders and drive solution discussions.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Power Query (M).
• Experience with Python or R.
• Experience with Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Data Governance experience.
• Experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or Risk Reporting domains.

• Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
• Translate business needs into data and analytics solutions.
• Work with user stories delivered through the SCRUM backlog.
• Design and refine data models for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Work with semantic models and large-scale datasets.
• Support IT Security reporting and vulnerability analytics initiatives.
• Analyze results from security scans and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the evolution of Databricks- and Fabric-based analytics solutions.
• Participate in maintaining and optimizing existing data products.
